Juan Carlos Cook

Bookkeeper for the Mississippi Hispanic Association (MHA).

American-born, he has lived in the State of Mississippi his entire life, but four years he lived and studied in New England.

He is a graduate of Brown University, one of the prestigious eight Ivy League universities located in the northeastern region of the United States, where he received his BA in International Relations.

Fluent in Spanish, he has a good command of French and Swedish, and is currently learning to speak Bulgaria, considering he travels to Bulgaria at least once every year.

His occupation in the family business involves a lot of foreign travel.

Currently, he is the founding owner of his own translation and interpreting business, and is now in the process of opening his very own liquor store in Moss Point, Mississippi.

He is a catechist for First Communion at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Jackson, which offers catechism classes every Sunda afternoon to the local Hispanic community.

To get in touch with him, you may call 601-331-7458 or write him at juan_c_cook@alumni.brown.edu
